Nick Taylor
Chair and Non-Executive Director
Nick was integral to establishing Disability Employment Investments in 2024 as a founding director. He brings a unique combination of lived experience of disability alongside 20+ years of commercial and philanthropic leadership. Professionally, Nick has held senior roles across management consulting, information technology and finance, and now focuses his career on the for-purpose sector. He is an experienced director who has served on the boards of multiple disability and sports-related organisations. Nick holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Hons) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Carly Quonoey
Non-Executive Director
Carly is a Chartered Accountant, Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a strategic finance and operations leader. With a career spanning over 20 years in top-tier consulting firms, external audit, philanthropy and reporting to boards at an executive-level, she brings strong financial, governance and commercial acumen to her role as Non-Executive Director for Disability Employment Investments. Carly is currently Investment Director at one of Australia’s largest philanthropic organisations, and also Chair of the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee of Softball Australia.

John Burn
Executive Director, Chief Executive Officer
John led the conceptualisation of Disability Employment Investments in April 2024 and was appointed as CEO in July 2024. Prior to DEInvestments, John worked with Many Rivers Microfinance for 14 years, including 9 years as Managing Director and CEO. John’s background is in banking with 21 years at Commonwealth Bank, starting as a graduate and finishing as Executive General Manager, Group Strategic Initiatives. John holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration (Executive).

Kylie van Luyn
Head of Strategy
Kylie van Luyn is Head of Strategy and works across government, business and the social sector translating complex systems and policy challenges into scalable, investable models.

Kylie has over 20 years of international executive and advisory experience across workforce development, disability and human services. Her career includes senior leadership roles and large-scale reform initiatives at the intersection of policy and practice.

Kylie is a Harvard Business School graduate, with a Master’s degree in Leadership, a Bachelor of Education and Political Science, and is completing a Master of Business Psychology. She is also a qualified human rights consultant and Psychotherapist.

Jaime‑lee Demmer
Head of Programs
As Head of Programs, Jaime‑lee leads the strategic design, implementation and management of employer demand driven, place-based initiatives that create decent work at scale for people with disability, that can be replicated nationally.

With more than 20 years of senior leadership experience across social enterprise, employment services, disability, mental health, youth, education, counselling and advocacy, Jaime‑lee brings deep operational insight and system level capability. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration (Executive), postgraduate qualifications in Career and Education Counselling, and a Bachelor of Sociology and Psychology.

Matt Knopp
Head of Investments
Matt Knopp is Head of Investments, where he leads the design and deployment of capital into enterprises that create sustainable employment for people with disability. He focuses on building employer demand, working with organisations to shift from supply-led approaches to demand-driven outcomes.

Matt has over 25 years of experience across the UK and Australia in social impact consulting, social enterprise and philanthropy. He previously led social enterprise investments at Paul Ramsay Foundation and co-founded Eastside People in the UK, where he led strategy, product innovation and business development working with UK’s leading non-profits.

Nicole Fetkowitz
Executive Assistant
and Team Support
As Executive Assistant and Team Support, Nicole provides coordination and operational support across Disability Employment Investments, ensuring the team can focus on driving change in disability employment.
Nicole brings a strong administrative background with experience working alongside senior leaders in a variety of organisations in the US and Australia. Nicole has a BA in Art History and Anthropology.

Sam Drummond
SA Program Lead
Sam Drummond joined Disability Employment Investments in 2025 as SA Program Lead. Sam is responsible for the detailed design and early implementation of DEInvestments’ Adelaide Program, including program design, project planning and budgeting, stakeholder engagement and early delivery activities.
Prior to DEInvestments, Sam worked across government, not-for-profit and business for more than 20 years, including senior roles in Australian and state government and 8 years with Many Rivers Microfinance. Sam has extensive experience in program design, economic development, employment initiatives and stakeholder engagement. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Business Administration.
